The 2009 season was their first season in the NLL. The Blazers began their inaugural season by losing back-to-back games to the division rival (and eventual East division champion) New York Titans. But the Blazers surprised everybody by winning seven of their next eight games, on their way to a 10-6 record, tied with New York and Buffalo for best in the East. The Titans won the East on tie-breakers, but the Blazers finished a respectable third and made the playoffs in their first season. In the Eastern division semi-final, the Blazers were defeated by the defending champion Buffalo Bandits 11-8.http://nll.com/article.php?id=3951 Bandits Beat Blazers, Advance To East Final NLL.com May 2, 2009 2009-05-02 https://web.archive.org/web/20090504031957/http://www.nll.com/article.php?id=3951 4 May 2009 dead Regular season Conference standings BOS Game log Reference:http://www.nll.com/page/show/432345-boston-blazers?subseason=57523 Boston Blazers – National Lacrosse League May 6, 2012 NLL.com https://archive.today/20120905102927/http://www.nll.com/page/show/432345-boston-blazers?subseason=57523 September 5, 2012 dead mdy-allTD Banknorth Garden TD Garden 1/10/2009 New York Titans New York Titans (lacrosse) Prudential Center 1 14 19 3208 1/17/2009 New York Titans New York Titans (lacrosse) 9 13 9313 1/23/2009 Philadelphia Wings Wachovia Center Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia) 1 13 11 9462 1/24/2009 Philadelphia Wings 11 7 4423 1/31/2009 Portland LumberJax 8 9 1 5029 2/7/2009 New York Titans New York Titans (lacrosse) 9 8 5713 2/13/2009 Philadelphia Wings Wachovia Center Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia) 1 8 4 9006 2/20/2009 Minnesota Swarm Xcel Energy Center 1 16 12 12106 2/22/2009 Calgary Roughnecks Pengrowth Saddledome Scotiabank Saddledome 1 11 10 10045 2/28/2009 San Jose Stealth 16 10 6833 3/14/2009 Toronto Rock 8 9 1 6485 3/28/2009 Rochester Knighthawks Blue Cross Arena 1 10 11 7329 4/3/2009 Toronto Rock Air Canada Centre 1 14 13 12884 4/4/2009 Buffalo Bandits 11 15 7073 4/11/2009 Rochester Knighthawks 10 5 8097 4/18/2009 Buffalo Bandits HSBC Arena First Niagara Center 1 13 12 1 18527 Playoffs Game log Reference:http://www.nll.com/page/show/433227-boston-blazers?subseason=57601 https://archive.today/20120908022100/http://www.nll.com/page/show/433227-boston-blazers?subseason=57601 dead September 8, 2012 Boston Blazers – National Lacrosse League May 6, 2012 NLL.comTD Banknorth Garden TD Garden Division Semifinal 5/2/2009 Buffalo Bandits HSBC Arena First Niagara Center 1 8 11 13343 Player stats Reference:http://pointstreak.com/prostats/teamplayerstats.html?teamid=142808&seasonid=3260 Boston Blazers - National Lacrosse League - team stats | Pointstreak Sports Technologies Runners (Top 10) Note: GP = Games played;
