The digitized version of the 1900 abstract of votes is of below average quality and some numbers are cut off. For scans of older printed documents, it is very easy to mistake 4s for 1s if the scan is of low quality. The actual figure being 34 is backed up by newspaper reports from late November 1900.Official Vote For State Officers https://washingtondigitalnewspapers.org/?a=d&d=SEATPINT19001122.1.7&e=-------en-20--1--txt-txIN------- Washington Digital Newspapers The Seattle Post-Intelligencer 6 August 2024 en 22 Nov 19001.85%130.71%70.38%-423-23.04%1,839Douglas67358.83%44438.81%191.66%70.61%10.09%22920.02%1,144Ferry89470.56%35027.62%100.79%80.63%50.39%54442.94%1,267Franklin9066.67%3928.89%32.22%00.00%32.22%5137.78%135Garfield50150.71%45245.75%101.01%191.92%60.61%494.96%988Island15737.56%24057.42%71.67%102.39%40.96%-83-19.86%418Jefferson48243.66%59954.26%141.27%40.36%50.45%-117-10.60%1,104King9,17849.05%8,80147.03%2681.43%2431.30%2231.19%3772.01%18,713Kitsap56538.07%80754.38%614.11%372.49%140.94%-242-16.31%1,484Kittitas1,12552.87%94644.45%341.60%130.61%100.47%1798.41%2,128Klickitat54437.16%85058.06%523.55%120.82%60.41%-306-20.90%1,464Lewis1,54645.10%1,76251.40%772.25%320.93%110.32%-216-6.30%3,428Lincoln1,85160.18%1,13036.74%622.02%270.88%60.20%72123.44%3,076Mason47648.32%48349.04%80.81%101.02%80.81%-7-0.71%985Okanogan73062.34%41235.18%131.11%121.02%40.34%31827.16%1,171Pacific48837.34%78760.21%161.22%90.69%70.54%-299-22.88%1,307Pierce5,15349.70%4,73445.66%1391.34%2352.27%1081.04%4194.04%10,369San Juan26037.57%41059.25%91.30%60.87%71.01%-150-21.68%692Skagit1,43444.15%1,61149.60%641.97%1153.54%240.74%-177-5.45%3,248Skamania20253.44%16543.65%41.06%20.53%51.32%379.79%378Snohomish2,87550.33%2,60945.68%1582.77%490.86%210.37%2664.66%5,712Spokane5,95554.19%4,61341.98%3092.81%640.58%480.44%1,34212.21%10,989Stevens1,74362.43%98735.35%291.04%230.82%100.36%75627.08%2,792Thurston89537.99%1,34757.17%512.16%482.04%150.64%-452-19.19%2,356Wahkiakum23637.94%35557.07%81.29%152.41%81.29%-119-19.13%622Walla Walla1,67645.75%1,90752.06%551.50%140.38%110.30%-231-6.31%3,663Whatcom1,98238.67%2,65251.74%1332.59%2314.51%1282.50%-670-13.07%5,126Whitman3,12356.58%2,06037.32%1683.04%1112.01%581.05%1,06319.26%5,520Yakima1,20044.91%1,36451.05%401.50%552.06%130.49%-164-6.14%2,672Totals52,04848.86%49,86046.81%2,1031.97%1,6701.57%8430.79%2,1882.05%106,524
