The 2007–08 First Division consisted of 12 clubs. Loughgall were the champions, but were not promoted to the 2008–09 IFA Premiership as they did not apply for a place. Bangor finished fourth and were the only team from the First Division to apply for a place in the following season's top division, and were granted a place ahead of other incumbent top-flight clubs.https://www.rsssf.org/tablesn/nil08.html Northern Ireland 2007/08 RSSSF 11 February 2024 League table main WDL PR LGL Loughgall DDA Dundela BCC Ballyclare Comrades BGR Bangor TOB Tobermore United CRK Carrick Rangers BBT Banbridge Town ARD Ards COA Coagh United HAR Harland & Wolff Welders LUR Lurgan Celtic POR Portstewart 15 4 3 42 21 C 12 3 7 38 28 11 5 6 25 13 10 7 5 43 33 10 5 7 41 32 10 3 9 34 30 10 2 10 38 38 8 3 11 32 28 7 6 9 27 35 6 8 8 19 27 R 5 3 14 22 44 R 1 5 16 15 47 R #BBF3BB Qualified for IFA Premiership P red2 Outside relegation zone, but failed to qualify for IFA Championship AR #FFBBBB Relegation to IFA Interim Intermediate League R R R 1st points; 2nd goal difference; 3rd goals scored; 4th head-to-head points; 5th head-to-head goal difference complete References Category:NIFL Championship seasons North Category:2007–08 in Northern Ireland association football
