This prompted chairman Ben Robinson to sack Paul Peschisolido on 17 March 2012. Gary Rowett and Kevin Poole were put in temporary charge until a new manager could be found. Rowett was subsequently put in charge of the club on a permanent basis on 11 May 2012 in time for the new season.http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/News/Gary-named-the-gaffer-10052012.htm Burton Mail Gary named the gaffer 11 May 2012 17 September 2012 https://web.archive.org/web/20120804085346/http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/News/Gary-named-the-gaffer-10052012.htm 4 August 2012 dead Players As of 5 May 2012.
