Perth Glory finished top of the league and were crowned champions after defeating Parramatta Power in the 2004 NSL Grand Final. Review and events Stadium A redevelopment of Perth Oval, known as Member's Equity Stadium at the time, forced the Glory to play two home matches at Arena Joondalup in the northern suburbs of Perth. The unavailability of Perth Oval in the opening rounds led the Glory to play the majority of the first half of the season playing away. From the opening of the renovated stadium in round 12, Perth Glory only played four matches away until round 26.Lewis Ross 29 October 2003 Perth Oval lost to Members Equity The West Australian http://www.thewest.com.au/20031029/news/general/tw-news-general-home-sto114931.html 2023-04-11 August 2026 InternetArchiveBot Cook Jonathan 25 July 2003 Glory in tough road test en The West Australian 4 August 2003 http://webarchive.nla.gov.au/awa/20030804174325/http://www.thewest.com.au/20030731/sport/soccer/tw-sport-soccer-home-sto106345.html http://www.thewest.com.au/20030731/sport/soccer/tw-sport-soccer-home-sto106345.html 2023-04-04 live medic28 October 2003 Glory's new home behind schedule ABC Sport http://www.abc.net.au/sport/content/s977106.htm 2023-04-04 http://webarchive.nla.gov.au/awa/20031029042705/http://www.abc.net.au/sport/content/s977106.htm 29 October 2003 live medic19 November 2004 Perth Glory - 2003/04 en The World Game http://www2.sbs.com.au/ozstats/nsl.php3?teamnsl=35&yearnsl=200304 http://webarchive.nla.gov.au/awa/20041119205325/http://www2.sbs.com.au/ozstats/nsl.php3?teamnsl=35&yearnsl=200304 2023-04-04 live medic For the preliminary final, Glory used Subiaco Oval, which had hosted three previous NSL grand finals.29 March 2004 Five-goal Glory into grand final 35 Illawarra MercuryPlace Michael 4 April 2004 Underdog is hungry for Grand Final glory 89 The Sunday Times Final standings PG Home and away season w Round 2 28 September 2003 uncollapsed Perth Glory 3–0 ReportFindlay Len 29 September 2003 Glory leaves it late to strike en The West Australian http://www.thewest.com.au/20030929/sport/soccer/tw-sport-soccer-home-sto113567.html 2023-04-11 5 October 2003 http://webarchive.nla.gov.au/awa/20031005151845/http://www.thewest.com.au/20030929/sport/soccer/tw-sport-soccer-home-sto113567.html bot: unknown medic Melbourne Knights Mori 82, Pondeljak 87, Caceres 88 Arena Joondalup 9,780 Eddie Lennie d Round 3 4 October 2003 uncollapsed Brisbane Strikers 0–0 Report Perth Glory Perry Park 3,042 Peter Green w Round 4 12 October 2003 uncollapsed Football Kingz 1–3 Report Perth Glory Ngata 64 Despotovski 48, Pondeljak 57, Mori 67 Ericsson Stadium 1,245 D.
