The opening kilometers raced through Richmond's historic Northside neighborhoods leading into downtown. The course continued east of Richmond down rural Route 5, which parallels the 50-mile Virginia Capital Trail. The first few kilometers were scenic, flat, open roads that eventually narrowed and went through Richmond National Battlefield Park, a historic Civil War site. The race re-entered the city through Shockoe Bottom, eventually making a hard right turn on Governor Street to ascend 300 m off us. At the top, the teams had to take a sharp left turn onto the false-flat finishing straight, 680 m off us to the finish.http://richmond2015.com/about/courses/team-time-trial/ https://web.archive.org/web/20141004042746/http://richmond2015.com/about/courses/team-time-trial/ usurped October 4, 2014 Team Time Trial Schedule All times are in Eastern Daylight Time (UTC−4).Race Schedule http://richmond2015.com/about/race-schedule/ August 22, 2015 usurped https://web.archive.org/web/20150823012955/http://richmond2015.com/about/race-schedule/ August 23, 2015 Date Time EventSeptember 20, 2015 11:30–12:55 Women's team time trial Final classification thumb|250px|Boels Dolmans finished second thumb|250px|Rabobank-Liv Woman Cycling Team finished third thumb|250px|Wiggle-Honda finished fourth thumb|250px|Twenty16 p/b Sho-Air finished fifth Rank Team Riders Time 1 DEU SLU 2015 Alena Amialiusik BLRLisa Brennauer DEUKarol-Ann Canuel CANBarbara Guarischi ITAMieke Kröger DEUTrixi Worrack DEU 47' 35.72" 2 NED DLT 2015 Lizzie Armitstead GBRChantal Blaak NEDChristine Majerus LUXKatarzyna Pawłowska POLEvelyn Stevens USAEllen van Dijk NED + 6.66" 3 NED DSB 2015 Lucinda Brand NEDThalita de Jong NEDShara Gillow AUSRoxane Knetemann NEDKatarzyna Niewiadoma POLAnna van der Breggen NED + 56.12" 4 GBR WHT 2015 Audrey Cordon FRAJolien D'Hoore BELAnnette Edmondson AUSEmilia Fahlin SWEDani King GBRElisa Longo Borghini ITA + 1' 10.15" 5 USA TI6 2015 Allie Dragoo USAAndrea Dvorak USALauren Hall USAAlison Jackson CANLauren Komanski USALeah Thomas USA + 2' 04.88" 6 USA UHC 2015UHC 2015 competed with five riders after Lauren Tamayo did not start.
