1912–13 FC Barcelona season

14th season in existence of FC Barcelona FC Barcelona 1912–13 Miles Barron (until December) Jack Alderson (until January) Jack Greenwell President Joan Gamper Campionat de Catalunya (FAC) First Campionat d'Espanya (UECF) Champion Pyrenees Cup Winner 1911–12 1913–14 The 1912–13 season was the 14th season for FC Barcelona. Summary This season was one of the most successful in the club's history, as Barcelona clinched its second treble after winning the Catalan championship, Copa del Rey and Pyrenees Cup). However, the former two were organized by Barcelona themselves as a rival competition to those organized by the Spanish FA, even though they are considered official too, it still stains this treble as a lesser achievement than the previous one in the 1909–10. Furthermore, Barça was actually knocked out from the 1913 Pyrenees Cup after a 1–3 loss to RCD Espanyol in the semi-finals, but they managed to have the result annulled through protests, and then in the final they comfortably won 7–2, with braces from José Berdié and Paulino Alcántara.https://www.rsssf.org/tablesp/pyrenees.html#13 1913 Pyrenees Cup 4 May 2017 2 September 2022 30 July 2022 RSSSF https://web.archive.org/web/20220730000108/https://www.rsssf.org/tablesp/pyrenees.html#13 live Meanwhile, in the 1913 UECF Copa del Rey Final, Barcelona needed three games to beat Real Sociedad as both legs ended with a draw (2–2 and 0–0), and then beat 2–1 in the play-off with goals from Berdié and new-signing Apolinario Rodríguez.https://www.rsssf.org/tabless/spancup1913.html Spain - Cups 1913 13 January 2000 2 September 2022 8 April 2022 RSSSF https://web.archive.org/web/20220408092402/http://www.rsssf.com/tabless/spancup1913.html live This season also saw one of the best players of the club join: Paulino Alcántara, the youngest player (15 years old) to have made his debut with the first team.February 2026 Squad https://www.bdfutbol.com/en/c/plantilla.html?temporada=325&club=Barcelona Squad of Barcelona 1912-13 Campionat de Catalunya www.bdfutbol.com 2 September 2022 83 ESP 1785 GK Luis Renyé 95 ESP 1785 GK Lisard Peris 99 ESP 1785 GK Francisco Aramburo 67 ESP 1785 DF José Irízar 77 PHI 1908 DF Manuel Amechazurra 88 ESP 1785 DF Pere Molins 88 ESP 1785 DF José Berrondo 98 GER 1785 MF Walter Rositzky 55 ESP 1785 MF Alfredo Massana 80 ESP 1785 MF Manuel Castejón 62 ESP 1785 MF Josep Costa 87 ENG 1785 MF Jack Greenwell ARG 1785 MF Mariano Bori ESP 1785 MF Manuel Lemmel ESP FW Romà Forns ENG FW Apolinario Rodríguez ESP 1785 FW Enrique Peris ENG FW Frank Allack ESP 1785 FW José Berdié ESP 1785 FW Alexander Steel SUI 1785 FW Joan Gamper PHI 1785 FW Paulino Alcántara Results Friendlies 14 August 1912 CE Sabadell FC 2 - 8 FC Barcelona A.Massana Steel Forns Alcántara Sabadell Torres Ullastres ccffcc 15 August 1912 CF Badalona 2 - 7 FC Barcelona Badalona ccffcc 30 August 1912 Universitary SC 5 - 2 FC Barcelona Manresa ffcccc 29 September 1912 FC Barcelona 4 - 2 FC Espanya A.Massana Steel Peris Apolinario Velodrom Tarragona Soler ccffcc 6 October 1912 FC Barcelona 3 - 3 FC Espanya Steel Apolinario Sarria Barcelona Beltran ffffcc 13 October 1912 FC Barcelona 3 - 0 FC Espanya Steel Forns Allack Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Alemany ccffcc 20 October 1912 FC Barcelona 5 - 2 Universitary SC Allack Steel A.Massana Apolinario Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Allack ccffcc 1 November 1912 FC Barcelona 4 - 1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol Allack Steel Apolinario Camp de la Indústria Barcelona John Hamilton ccffcc 3 November 1912 FC Barcelona 4 - 0 Real Sociedad Forns Steel Apolinario Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Varela ccffcc 10 November 1912 FC Barcelona 3 - 1 Casual SC Allack Steel Camp de la Indústria Barcelona John Hamilton ccffcc 17 November 1912 FC Barcelona 3 - 0 Reial Polo Jockey Club Apolinario Forns own goal Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Rodriguez ccffcc 24 November 1912 FC Català 2 - 12 FC Barcelona Steel Alcántara Forns Apolinario Catala Barcelona Barren ccffcc 1 December 1912 FC Barcelona 4 - 1 FC Català Forns Allack Alcántara Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Barren ccffcc 15 December 1912 FC Barcelona 7 - 2 Hispania Valencia Steel Allack Apolinario Rositzky Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Lorca ccffcc 16 December 1912 FC Barcelona 9 - 0 Hispania Valencia Steel Amechazurra Costa Greenwell Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Zamorano ccffcc 25 December 1912 FC Barcelona 3 - 3 West Auckland Wanderers Steel Apolinario Allack Camp de la Indústria Barcelona John Hamilton ffffcc 26 December 1912 FC Barcelona 0 - 4 West Auckland Wanderers Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Glauck ffcccc 29 December 1912 FC Barcelona 2 - 0 West Auckland Wanderers Steel Camp de la Indústria Barcelona John Hamilton ccffcc 5 January 1913 FC Barcelona 0 - 3 Seleccio Guipuzcoana Camp de la Indústria Barcelona Mensa ffcccc 6 January 1913 FC Barcelona 2 - 1 Seleccio Guipuzcoana Steel Allack Camp de la Indústria Barcelona John Hamilton ccffcc 20 April 1913 FC Barcelona 2 - 4 Crook Town A.F.C.
