Oserian and Muhoroni Youth finished top in their zones, but the latter's promotion was heavily questioned, as the KFF Nationwide League season was inconclusive. Former KFF chairman Mohamed Hatimy said that Muhoroni Youth's promotion was unconstitutional as the league they played in was "unknown". He continued to say that there was only one Nationwide League; that run by the FKL and any promoted teams should have come from the FKL Nationwide League. Red Berets had been relegated from the Premier League the previous season, but disbanded as they were under immense pressure from their sponsors to produce good performances.Red Berets FC disbanded http://www.michezoafrika.com/Kpl/Red-Berets-FC-disbanded/896.aspx Dennis Machio MichezoAfrika.com 27 January 2011 22 May 2012 League tables FKL Nationwide League main WDL FKL Nationwide League 5 PR OSE Oserian MAH Mahakama AGC Agrochemical NST Nairobi Stima KRA Kenya Revenue Authority MCR Magongo Rangers ADM Admiral FLH Finlays Horticulture APO Administration Police NAS Nakuru AllStars BCU Bidco United GUS Gusii United MAY Mathare Youth STR Strathmore University RKS Real Kisumu KSL KSL Thola Glass 13 12 5 49 34 C,P 14 7 9 46 31 13 10 7 32 23 11 15 4 32 23 12 11 7 47 35 13 6 11 36 43 11 11 8 40 37 10 12 8 29 30 11 8 11 34 34 10 9 11 35 32 8 14 8 36 30 9 10 11 39 38 6 12 12 37 39 6 9 15 38 53 R 5 12 13 27 42 R 6 6 18 20 53 R #ACE1AF Promotion to 2012 Kenyan Premier League P #FFCCCC Relegation to 2012 Kenyan Provincial League Mathare Youth were to be relegated to Division Two, but due to a lack of enough teams in Zone A of FKF Division One, they were added to complete the list of 20 teams.
