As a UCI WorldTeam, they are obligated to send a squad to every event in the UCI World Tour. After months of speculation, Garmin-Sharp and CAN 2014 announced on 20 August 2014 that for the 2015 season the two teams will merge. The team is more a continuity of the Garmin team managed by Slipstream Sports, who will remain the managerial organisation behind the team, with Cannondale becoming the team's title sponsor and bike supplier, and Garmin remaining a key team sponsor.http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/garmin-sharp-and-cannondale-merge-for-2015 Garmin Sharp and Cannondale merge for 2015 Cyclingnews.com 2014-10-07 dead https://web.archive.org/web/20140822042634/http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/garmin-sharp-and-cannondale-merge-for-2015 2014-08-22 Team roster January 11, 2015http://slipstreamsports.com/cannondale-garmin-pro-team/ Cannondale-Garmin (TCG) – USA January 11, 2015 UCI World Tour Union Cycliste Internationale Janier Acevedo COL 2015 1 11 1985 12 6 Jack Bauer NZL 2015 1 1 1985 4 7 Alberto Bettiol ITA 2015 1 11 1993 10 23 Nate Brown USA 2015 1 11 1991 7 6 André Cardoso POR 2015 1 11 1984 9 3 Tom Danielson USA 2015 1 11 1978 3 13 Joe Dombrowski USA 2015 1 11 1991 5 12 Davide Formolo ITA 2015 1 11 1992 10 25 Nathan Haas AUS 2015 1 11 1989 3 12 Ryder Hesjedal CAN 2015 1 11 1980 12 9 Alex Howes USA 2015 1 11 1988 1 1 Ben King USA 2015 1 11 1989 3 22 Ted King USA 2015 1 11 1983 1 31 Kristijan Koren SLO 2015 1 11 1986 11 25 Sebastian Langeveld NED 2015 1 11 1985 1 17 Alan Marangoni ITA 2015 1 11 1984 7 16 Dan Martin IRE 2015 1 11 1986 8 20 Matej Mohorič SLO 2015 1 11 1994 10 19 Moreno Moser ITA 2015 1 11 1990 12 25 Ramūnas Navardauskas LTU 2015 1 11 1988 1 30 Lasse Norman Hansen DEN 2015 1 11 1992 2 11 Kristoffer Skjerping NOR 2015 1 11 1993 5 4 Tom-Jelte Slagter NED 2015 1 11 1989 7 1 Andrew Talansky USA 2015 1 11 1988 11 23 Rigoberto Urán COL 2015 1 11 1987 1 26 Dylan van Baarle NED 2015 1 11 1993 5 22 Davide Villella ITA 2015 1 11 1991 6 27 Ruben Zepuntke GER 2015 1 11 1993 1 29 Riders who joined the team for the 2015 season Rider2014 teamAlberto BettiolCAN 2014Joe Dombrowskihttp://www.cyclingnews.com/features/dombrowski-looking-for-fresh-start-in-2015 Dombrowski looking for fresh start in 2015 Cyclingnews.com Future plc Bath, England October 14, 2014 February 8, 2015 Pat MalachSKY 2014Davide FormoloCAN 2014Ted KingCAN 2014Kristijan KorenCAN 2014Alan MarangoniCAN 2014Matej MohoričCAN 2014Moreno MoserCAN 2014Kristoffer Skjerpinghttp://www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral/news/57319/Cannondale-Garmin-unveils-2015-roster Cannondale-Garmin unveils 2015 roster 14 November 2014 February 8, 2015 SBS Sport Special Broadcasting Service Corporation Sydney, New South Wales dead https://web.archive.org/web/20150209095341/http://www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral/news/57319/Cannondale-Garmin-unveils-2015-roster 9 February 2015 neo-pro (Team Joker)Davide VillellaCAN 2014Ruben Zepuntke neo-pro (Bissell Development Team) Riders who left the team during or after the 2014 season Rider2015 teamThomas Dekker RetiredRohan Dennis BMC 2014Caleb FairlyGIA 2015Tyler FarrarMTN 2015Koldo FernándezRetiredPhil GaimonOptum-Kelly Benefit StrategiesRaymond KrederRoompot Orange CyclingDavid MillarRetiredLachlan MortonJelly Belly-MaxxisNick NuyensRetiredJohan VansummerenALM 2015Steele Von HoffNFTO Pro CyclingFabian WegmannCult Energy Pro Cycling Season victories Date Race Competition Rider Country Location February 22 Volta ao Algarve, Young rider classification UCI Europe Tour Davide Formolo ITA March 28 Critérium International, Stage 1 UCI Europe Tour Ben King Ben King (cyclist) USA Porto-Vecchio March 29 Volta a Catalunya, Mountains classification UCI World Tour Tom Danielson USA April 10 Circuit de la Sarthe, Overall UCI Europe Tour Ramūnas Navardauskas LTU April 10 Circuit de la Sarthe, Teams classification UCI Europe Tour The riders on the squad were: Alberto Bettiol, Nathan Haas, Alex Howes, Ben King, Moreno Moser and Ramūnas Navardauskas.
