América equalized in the 89th minute, as half-time substitute Oribe Peralta, who was subbed on for Martinez, headed in Rubens Sambueza's free kick. Shortly after the equalizer, Montreal goalkeeper Evan Bush was shown a yellow card for kicking the ball Paul Aguilar, however, replays show that Aguilar jumped in front of the ball as Bush was kicking it away. Aguilar then proceeded to punch Bush in the face, which went unpunished. This yellow card was crucial, as it suspended Bush for the second leg of the final.http://www.concacaf.com/article/peralta-lifts-club-america-to-draw-with-montreal https://web.archive.org/web/20150428184209/http://www.concacaf.com/article/peralta-lifts-club-america-to-draw-with-montreal dead April 28, 2015 Peralta lifts Club America to draw with Montreal CONCACAF.com April 22, 2015 http://www.mlssoccer.com/ccl/news/article/2015/04/27/champions-league-montreal-looking-all-options-keeper-evan-bush-fumes-over-cc dead https://web.archive.org/web/20150429152907/http://www.mlssoccer.com/ccl/news/article/2015/04/27/champions-league-montreal-looking-all-options-keeper-evan-bush-fumes-over-cc 2015-04-29 Champions League: Montreal looking at all options as GK Evan Bush fumes over leg 2 suspension MLSsoccer.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0R4AQr6Hkk Club América vs Montreal Impact Highlights Youtube April 22, 2015 April 24, 2015 April 27, 2015 https://web.archive.org/web/20150427235109/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0R4AQr6Hkk live 22 April 2015 20:00 UTC−5 América MEX 1–1 Report CAN Montreal Impact Peralta 88 Piatti 16 Estadio Azteca, Mexico City 56,783http://www.canadiansoccernews.com/index.php?%2Fpage%2Farticles.html%2F_%2F24th-minute%2Fbest-concacaf-champions-leaguecup-of-all-time-r5219 Articles - Canadian Soccer News 2022-02-07 2020-11-27 https://web.archive.org/web/20201127224859/https://www.canadiansoccernews.com/index.php?%2Fpage%2Farticles.html%2F_%2F24th-minute%2Fbest-concacaf-champions-leaguecup-of-all-time-r5219 live http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/news/2015/04/bleu-blanc-noir-mosaic-wednesday-night A Bleu-blanc-noir mosaic for Wednesday night 25 April 2015 Montreal Impact https://web.archive.org/web/20150924043516/http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/news/2015/04/bleu-blanc-noir-mosaic-wednesday-night 2015-09-24 http://m.terra.com.mx/noticia?n=2cfe3c164ff932addb9ce04cf12feddav1jsRCRD Final de Concachampions impone marca de asistencia 2015-05-03 2016-03-07 https://web.archive.org/web/20160307144421/http://m.terra.com.mx/noticia?n=2cfe3c164ff932addb9ce04cf12feddav1jsRCRD live Héctor Rodríguez (Honduras) _america1415H FFEE80 FFEE80 FFEE80 FFEE80 FFEE80 América _adidasaltwhite _IMPACT_14h _adidasaltwhite _adidaswhite _SCHALKE04_1213h 0000FF FF0000 0000FF 0000FF FF0000 Montreal Impact GK 23 MEX Moisés Muñoz DF 22 MEX Paul Aguilar 89 DF 4 MEX Erik Pimentel DF 12 PAR Pablo Aguilar DF 6 PAR Miguel Samudio MF 5 ARG Cristian Pellerano 70 MF 10 PAR Osvaldo Martínez 45 46 MF 11 ECU Michael Arroyo MF 14 ARG Rubens Sambueza (c) FW 3 COL Darwin Quintero FW 9 ARG Darío Benedetto 80Substitutions: GK 1 MEX Hugo González MF 8 MEX Moisés Velasco DF 15 MEX Osmar Mares MF 21 MEX José Guerrero 70 FW 24 MEX Oribe Peralta 46 FW 28 MEX Martín Zúñiga 80 DF 30 MEX Zaid VeynaManager:URU Gustavo Matosas GK 1 USA Evan Bush 89 DF 6 FRA Hassoun Camara 66 DF 5 MLI Bakary Soumaré DF 23 BEL Laurent Ciman DF 25 USA Donny Toia MF 15 ARG Andrés Romero 88 MF 14 ENG Nigel Reo-Coker (c) 75 MF 16 SCO Calum Mallace MF 11 USA Dilly Duka 71 71 FW 10 ARG Ignacio Piatti 16 FW 7 GHA Dominic OduroSubstitutions: DF 3 USA Eric Miller 66 MF 8 CAN Patrice Bernier 75 DF 51 CAN Maxim Tissot 71 MF 55 FRA Wandrille Lefèvre FW 99 USA Jack McInerney GK 41 CAN John Smits FW 13 USA Kenny CooperManager:USA Frank Klopas thumb|Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico, hosted the first leg. Darío Benedetto had a golden chance just a few minutes later when he had a seemingly open goal from 4 yards out, but his shot hit the crossbar and the Impact cleared the ball away. Piatti had a great chance to extend the lead for Montreal midway through the first half, but Moisés Muñoz made a great save for Club America. The lead lasted until the 50th minute, as Darío Benedetto equalized for América with a scissor kick from Osvaldo Martínez's cross. América took the lead in the 65th minute, when Darwin Quintero headed the ball across goal for Oribe Peralta to head it in. Benedetto increased América's lead two minutes later as he stabbed in a cross from Miguel Samudio, and completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute with a curling shot after another assist from Quintero. Jack McInerney added a consolation goal in the 88th minute as he scored from Piatti's pass.http://www.concacaf.com/article/club-america-wins-sccl-title Club America wins SCCL title CONCACAF.com April 29, 2015 May 1, 2015 https://web.archive.org/web/20150504125420/http://www.concacaf.com/article/club-america-wins-sccl-title May 4, 2015 deadhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-KhHYNnTps Montreal Impact vs Club América Highlights Youtube April 29, 2015 May 1, 2015 February 24, 2016 https://web.archive.org/web/20160224033620/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-KhHYNnTps live 29 April 2015 20:00 UTC−4 Montreal Impact CAN 2–4 Report MEX América Romero 8McInerney 88 Benedetto 50 67 81Peralta 65 Olympic Stadium, Montreal 61,004https://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/impacts-concacaf-champions-league-trophy-chances-dashed-after-home-defeat/article24178935/ Impact's CONCACAF Champions League trophy chances dashed after home defeat Sean Gordon April 29, 2015 The Globe and Mail https://web.archive.org/web/20201107171415/https://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/impacts-concacaf-champions-league-trophy-chances-dashed-after-home-defeat/article24178935/ 2020-11-07 Henry Bejarano (Costa Rica) _IMPACT_15a _IMPACT_15a _IMPACT_15a _adidasblue _3_stripes_blue FFFFFF FFFFFF FFFFFF FFFFFF FFFFFF Montreal Impact _america1415a _america1415a _america1415a _america1415a 000060 000060 000060 000060 000060 América GK 30 GER Kristian Nicht DF 14 ENG Nigel Reo-Coker (c) DF 5 MLI Bakary Soumaré 25 DF 23 BEL Laurent Ciman 63 DF 25 USA Donny Toia 70 MF 15 ARG Andrés Romero 36 MF 16 SCO Calum Mallace 78 MF 10 ARG Ignacio Piatti MF 33 ITA Marco Donadel 67 MF 11 USA Dilly Duka FW 7 GHA Dominic Oduro 69Substitutions: GK 40 CAN Maxime Crépeau DF 51 CAN Maxim Tissot 70 DF 3 USA Eric Miller MF 8 CAN Patrice Bernier 78 MF 55 FRA Wandrille Lefèvre FW 99 USA Jack McInerney 67 FW 13 USA Kenny CooperManager:USA Frank Klopas GK 23 MEX Moisés Muñoz DF 22 MEX Paul Aguilar DF 17 USA Ventura Alvarado DF 12 PAR Pablo Aguilar 34 DF 6 PAR Miguel Samudio MF 3 COL Darwin Quintero 82 MF 21 MEX José Guerrero 28 MF 10 PAR Osvaldo Martínez 36 MF 14 ARG Rubens Sambueza (c) 87 FW 24 MEX Oribe Peralta 84 FW 9 ARG Darío Benedetto 67Substitutions: GK 1 MEX Hugo González DF 4 MEX Erik Pimentel DF 15 MEX Osmar Mares 87 MF 5 ARG Cristian Pellerano MF 11 ECU Michael Arroyo 84 FW 27 MEX José Madueña 82 FW 28 MEX Martín ZúñigaManager:URU Gustavo Matosas thumb|Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, hosted the second leg.
